2nd Friday Kick Off Success!

The 2024 2nd Friday Street Festival series kicked off on May 10 with an an abundance of music, art, food & drink, and community celebration.

School of Rock - Cornelius opened up the festivities with a exciting live performance from their signature "house band" followed by and electrifying concert from local fan-favorites The Goodnight Brothers Band.

surrounding region together to enjoy some of their favorite breweries including Eleven Lakes, 760 Craft Works, Ass Clown Brewing and Red Clay Ciderworks along with delicious food and plenty of sweet treats to go around.

Lake Norman Realty sponsored an exciting Kid Zone with a giant double-land slide and obstacle course while local artisans and craftsmen sold their wares and added excitement and vibrancy to the atmosphere.

All in all, the event was a big success! Now onward and upward to the next edition of the 2nd Friday Street Festival, KIDS FEST! on Friday June 14 from 5-9 pm at Oak Street Mill.
